1. Child and adolescent depression and the key differences between depressed and non-depressed youth
2. Child and adolescent suicidal ideation and the development of an intervention for youth presenting to the emergency department with acute suicidality
3. The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on child, youth, and family mental health
4. The relationship between early onset depression and future cardiovascular risk

The Lab
The Korczak Lab is located in the Psychiatry Department at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids, 4th floor, Black Wing) in Toronto, Canada. The lab features a welcoming waiting area for youth and families, spacious observation rooms where on-site research is conducted, research offices and ample study workspace. Research participants (children, youth and families) and staff alike will find the lab to be a friendly, inviting and comfortable environment.
