Recent research suggests that a healthy diet - rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains - may help improve mood and symptoms of depression. Personalized diet plans may also make it easier to build long-term healthy eating habits.

The Mood And Kids diEt (MAKE-IT) Study, part of the CLIMB Program, is exploring whether a personalized nutrition plan can help improve symptoms of depression in youth diagnosed with a depressive disorder, as an addition to their usual care. The study lasts 8 to 9 weeks and involves two in-person visits (at the beginning and end), with all other components completed remotely.
